The rain didn't stop people from visiting the farmer's market held at St. Joseph Hospital on Saturday, August 29. Local farmers sold fresh fruits, vegetables, maple products, flowers, and other locally grown and produced foods...and even wine!
In addition to the plethora of kids games and healthy sundae making contest, the crowd was entertained by a Healthy Chef Competition. Taking part in the competition were:

The voting was extremely close between each of the two chefs. Chef Joe Drift, from Saffron Bistro won the Main Entrée category and Chef Douglas Lunn, from Villa Banca won the Dessert category. Thank you to all of our judges and to all of our chefs! And a special thank you to Chris Williams of the Nashua Chamber of Commerce who got the crowd all riled by MCing the event!
