Home Sleep Apnea Testing

We know there’s no place like home, which is why we’re proud to offer home sleep apnea testing. This allows patients to be tested for Obstructive Sleep Apnea from the comfort of their own bed. All you need to do is attend a short appointment to learn how to use the equipment and return it the following day.

  • We provide home sleep testing for patients 18 years of age or older. This option is primarily for patients who have a moderate to high probability of sleep apnea and do not have chronic medical problems such as heart failure, COPD or emphysema.
  • Our sleep laboratory uses state-of-the-art medical diagnostic equipment to assist in the accurate diagnosis of sleep and sleep-related disorders.
  • The appointment to pick-up the home sleep study equipment will last about 20-30 minutes. The person who will be using the home sleep study must be present at the appointment. Please return all equipment on time.
  • Bring your current insurance card to your appointment
  • Avoid caffeine after 2 p.m.
  • Eat your usual evening meal before putting on the recording equipment
  • Take your regular medications unless told otherwise by your provider
