Mandy Jasper, Manager, Medical Staff Office – Mandy began her time at St. Joseph Hospital in 2009, first working as a PSR in our Amherst Street practice and then part-time in Managed Care. She joined the Medical Staff Department in August 2012 and was promoted to Manager in January 2016.
When asked what her favorite thing about her job is, she said, “I love working with Pam, Rachel, Rachele and Felicia. They bring me such joy! I love working with providers and all their different personalities. They are such incredible humans and I’m grateful for my small part in keeping people healthy and safe.”
Mandy’s supervisor, Dr. Vatti, said of Mandy, “She has constant pressures from all sides to get things done quickly. She will always work as fast as possible but will never compromise any steps. She can be relied on to get it done right.”
Mandy shared that one of her most memorable times here was during the Covid Pandemic – it was insane! Moving offices with no notice, setting up and helping run vaccine clinics, taking temperatures at the door, virtual meetings, lots of changes! She also said, “I love the people of St. Joe’s. My co-workers make doing my job so enjoyable and I could not do it without them. I’ve also been so lucky to have incredible bosses in Dr. Stephen, Dr. Madden and Dr. Vatti.”
Outside of work Mandy loves to spend time with her family, read, watch birds and plan vacations and getaways. She has been married to her husband Mike for 25 years and they have two sons, Matt and Kyle. Cheers to you, Mandy, our July Mission Champion – we are so lucky to have you!
