Why St. Joseph Hospital

For more than 30 years, we’ve supported parents in their goal to raise physically and emotionally healthy children. At our three pediatric clinics, we emphasize preventive medicine through sensitive and responsive care, while considering each child’s own development and family dynamic. We’re committed to treating every child in our community, especially our most vulnerable populations, with dignity and care.

Our Dedicated Pediatricians

At St. Joseph Hospital, our pediatrics practice is a team of the area’s leading board-certified pediatricians. We specialize in treating children and young adults from birth through their college years. For your convenience, we offer three convenient locations in Nashua, South Nashua and Milford.

Extended Hours

We offer extended hours on Saturday’s from 8:00am to 12:00pm to ensure that your child receives the care they need, when they need it. Extended hours are available to all of our pediatric patients, offered at one convenient location at 460 Amherst Street in Nashua, NH. To make an appointment, call (603) 883-7970.

As your child’s pediatrician, St. Joseph Hospital is their home for health. We’ll monitor their progress throughout their childhood, ensuring they get the care they need to grow physically, mentally and emotionally. In addition to general medicine, we also provide the following pediatric services:

  • Consultations on behavioral problems and other pediatric related concerns
  • Specialty newborn care including advice on breastfeeding and nutrition
  • On-site certified lactation consultants
  • 24-hour nurse hotline
  • Childhood immunizations and allergy shots
  • Hearing and vision tests
  • Sports and camp physicals
  • Preventive medicine

We strongly encourage you to be present for your child’s appointments to provide information and required signatures for immunizations. In the event you must send your child with another adult, a permission to treat form is required. If a parent or guardian is not present, immunizations may need to be deferred.

When you call about an ill child, please be prepared to tell us how long they’ve been sick and what symptoms they’re experiencing, including fever, cough, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, pain or swelling. Please be prepared to take notes on recommendations or medical instructions.
