A Note from the President

Dear Friends,

As a Catholic healthcare system, we strive to adhere to our Mission of serving all members of the community by providing the best possible care to every human being that walks through our doors with dignity, compassion and respect. This means that regardless of how you look, how you identify, how much money you make, or who you choose to worship or love, we will care for you to the best of our ability.

Our role as your community hospital is to welcome everyone in need as did our foundress, St. Marguerite d’Youville, some 300 years ago while leading the religious community of the Grey Nuns. In fact, when you visit our hospital or any of our practices, you’ll likely notice we intentionally employ team members that represent the very diverse community of greater Nashua and its surrounding towns. My message to you today is simple — Everyone is Cared for Here.

We created this issue of thrive to help support everyone in living their best and healthiest life. This issue is filled with stories including:

  • 4 Tips for Self-Care – Your newest seasonal tradition
  • Naughty vs. Nice – Light dishes, rich flavors
  • Ask the Experts – Prep for Pregnancy and Pick a Provider with Leonard Wasserman, MD, and Brittney Bergeron, MSN, CNM, WHNP-BC
  • Maverick – PAWSitive Healing

Be sure to let us know what you think of this thrive issue – drop us a line at: thrivemagazine@covh.org.
