St. Joseph Hospital provides laboratory services for outpatients at four convenient locations. Walk-ins are welcome. Services include: phlebotomy, histology, blood bank, chemistry, hematology/urinalysis, coagulation, serolog, and microbiology.
The hospital lab also tests samples obtained at our other laboratory locations, physician offices, and the Diagnostic Center, as well as through visiting nurse agencies.
Medical Director James Heath, M.D. oversees the lab's policies, procedures, and clinical work. Rigorous accreditation processes involve on-site reviews for quality control, staff qualifications, equipment, safety, and laboratory management to ensure outstanding service to our patients and clients.
St. Joseph Hospital laboratory facilities are accredited by the College of American Pathologists' Commission on Laboratory Accreditation (#11681-01) and the American Association of Blood Banks (#000973).
