Arts in the Atrium
Arts in the Atrium at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire, has proven to be an effective way of fostering healing for patients, their families, and community members. The purpose of this program is to create a strong bond between St. Joseph Hospital and the Greater Nashua community, providing opportunities for visitors to come into the hospital for non-medical reasons.

Grey Nuns Thrift Shop
Founded by the Grey Nuns, we continue to live their mission by supporting the underprivileged in the Greater Nashua community and partnering with local agencies to provide necessities to their clients.
Joseph’s Closet
Joseph’s Closet provides durable medical equipment free of charge to individuals in need throughout the Greater Nashua community. Our trained volunteers offer a caring, gentle, and confidential approach to receiving and distributing equipment.
Mobile Health Clinic
Our vision is to respect, be caring, and sensitive to all – by honoring the dignity of each person, especially the poor, vulnerable, and suffering.
Project Search
Through a partnership with The PLUS Company in Nashua, New Hampshire, we proudly rotate Project SEARCH interns through various departments across the hospital. Over the course of one year, students have the opportunity to develop vocational skills necessary to be members of the workforce.
Senior Resource Center
Through support groups, educational offerings, respite meetings, and individual meetings, we strive to be the caring presence that is much needed during time of need.
Volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital
During a typical year, volunteers donate nearly 25,000 hours of service to the hospital. Consider joining the team of adult or junior volunteers who have a positive impact on delivering quality patient care on a daily basis.
St. Joseph Hospital Chapel
For those seeking a space for prayer and reflection, the St. Joseph Hospital chapel is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is located on the first floor of the hospital, directly next to St. Joseph Hospital Breast Care Breast Care Center.
We host Mass in the chapel at 11:30am on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and welcome all to attend. Mass can also be viewed on channel 77 for inpatients. Our chaplains are always available, or on call, to provide spiritual care to our patients, family members, and staff. They help those of all faiths and cultures navigate care concerns.
The chaplains happily provide a Bible, Torah, or Koran upon request.
