November 2025 Mission Champion, Stephanie Plamondon

News & Events

Stephanie Plamondon – Patient Service Representative, DH Outpatient Rehab.  Stephanie is the friendly face greeting patients at our Dartmouth Hitchcock Outpatient Rehabilitation Practice.  She came to St. Joseph Hospital in 2018, previously working for Southern Maine Healthcare.

Stephanie’s supervisor, Patricia Cote says of Stephanie, “As a PSR in our Rehab Department, Stephanie truly understands the importance of always greeting all patients in a warm and welcoming manner.  Many of our patients are in pain and nervous about what to expect in PT or OT and she makes all feel welcome.  Her calm demeanor certainly has a way of putting the patient at ease.  She works hard to ensure patients have a positive experience in their rehab journey.”

Stephanie says her favorite part of her job is getting to see and know patients over time and watching them progress.  She says her most memorable moment working at St. Joe’s was during her first year.  “I had just moved here from out of state, so I didn’t know much about the hospital’s role in the community. I participated in the Christmas Family Project and was completely blown away when I attended the Blessing of the Baskets for the first time. I went in expecting just a small group of people with a few Christmas gifts, but I was amazed to see the overwhelming turnout—gifts and food were stacked floor to ceiling. It was so moving to witness the level of participation, and it really showed me how much everyone cares for the community, far beyond the medical care we provide. In that moment I was so proud to be part of that and say I work at. St. Joes.”

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys time with her fiancé, Jake and their two-year-old son, Gabriel.  She also enjoys cooking, camping and reading. Stephanie truly lives the mission of St. Joseph Hospital, and we are grateful for her dedication and are so happy to have her on our team!

Congratulations, Stephanie!
