Nashua, NH – Potentially lifesaving supplies for Ukraine are being collected in a Nashua parking lot.
St. Joseph Hospital is holding a drive for medical supplies to ship overseas. The donations were being collected Friday at a parking lot on Amherst Street.
Hospital officials said their mission is to serve the most vulnerable people, even if they are thousands of miles away. As word of the drive spread, officials said the response has been gratifying.
“I’ve heard from people all over the state and also people from Ukraine,” said Rosemary Ford, Director of Mobile Health for St. Joseph Hospital. “They’ve reached out. They’re thrilled that we’re doing this drive and making this effort, and everyone wants to pitch in.”
