At St. Joseph Hospital Maternal Child Health in Nashua, New Hampshire, we provide breastfeeding support to our patients. Please contact our International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners Certified Lactation Consultant for individual support and education.
During your stay at St. Joseph Hospital Maternal Child Health, your nurse will spend time with you helping you breastfeed or bottle-feed your newborn. You will also have help from one of our certified lactation consultants. We recommend feeding your baby based on feeding cues, which we will help you identify during your first few days together.
Our Maternal Child Health Unit Team staff 24 hour hotlines to answer questions you may have about your health or the health of your baby. Whether you are breastfeeding or bottle-feeding, a lactation consultant will call to check in with you within the first week and will continue to call and check in with you for as long as you wish.
