Kristy Neff, RDMS, RVT – Technical Director of Vascular Ultrasound. Kristy is one of the friendly faces caring for patients in the Vascular Ultrasound Department. She came to St. Joseph Hospital in as a per diem employee is 2017 and has been a full-time employee since 2019.
Kristy received not one, but two nominations for Mission Champion! One nominating co-worker says, “Kristy delivers high-quality work by paying close attention to detail, following best practices, and striving to exceed expectations. It involves being proactive in identifying areas for improvement, embracing continuous learning, and applying innovative solutions to enhance outcomes. She maintains a strong work ethic, demonstrating reliability, and taking pride in contributing to the overall success of the team or organization.”
Another co-worker says, “In addition to providing excellent care to patients, Kristy is also a wonderful friend and coworker to have. She is always helping solve problems across departments like vascular, echo and general ultrasound. If someone needs her or can’t figure out something new, she goes the extra mile to get answers, sit down and teach us. She is extremely patient, caring, and has a problem-solving skillset that she brings to the table to ease all our lives here at work. She truly embodies the St. Joseph mission and is an asset to this hospital.” Kristy says she loves that in her field she is always learning, and her department feels more like family. One of her favorite ‘work’ memories was the Cardiovascular Department Meatball Cook-off!
Outside of work, Kristy enjoys time with her family – her husband Jason and two kids, Bryson and Madison, and their two dogs, Milo and Lyla. And for Kristy it really is a family here at St. Joe’s – her two younger sisters also work here! Whether it’s serving our patients or volunteering her time serving our Mission Meals, Kristy truly lives the mission of St. Joseph Hospital and we are grateful for her dedication and are so happy to have her on our team!
