Each and every appointment I had, I was being spoken to and heard. If I had any questions, they were explained to me in detail to I understood. During the last month of my pregnancy, my father in law became very ill, and I was nervous my partner would have not been able to make it to the birth. Theresa gave me her personal phone number and offered to be my support person in case he did not make it. Luckily, he made it, and she was actually the one to deliver my baby. From the prenatal appointments to the labor and delivery through postnatal recovery and care – I am blown away by this group of women. I was able to meet with each of them throughout my prenatal appointments in order to get familiar with them as they are on call at different times of the week, so you do not know who will be there for the baby’s arrival! Rebecca and Sarah ended up being the midwives when I was induced and they were amazing – coaching me through the labor, listening to my needs/wishes, treating me like a friend vs. just another medical patient, and being honest while laying out options. I felt so empowered and listened to. They even go out of their way to check in.
