The PGY-1 pharmacy residency program at St. Joseph Hospital builds upon the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training.

The PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency program conducted by St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH has an accreditation pre-candidate status with ASHP. The program is affiliated with Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in Manchester.

Our program is designed to match residents with their areas of interest. Each resident will complete all the required core rotations as well as longitudinal experiences.
For the resident to be well-rounded upon completion of the program, each resident will be tasked with the following projects over the course of the year.
