Learning Experiences
Our program is designed to match residents with their areas of interest. Each resident will complete all the required core rotations as well as longitudinal experiences.
Required Core Rotations
Each rotation will last five weeks, unless otherwise stated:
- Orientation
- Administration
- Ambulatory Care
- Infectious Disease
- Critical Care
- Internal Medicine I
- Internal Medicine II
- Oncology
Longitudinal Experiences
- Residency Research Project
- Staffing
- Teaching Certificate (provided in partnership with MCPHS)
Electives
Elective experiences include, but not limited to, the following options. Each resident will have the opportunity to select two elective rotations.
- Administration II
- Ambulatory Care II
- Critical Care II
- Emergency Medicine
Educational Opportunities
The resident will have the option in obtaining additional certifications based on their area of interest, including, but not limited to:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Society of Infectious Disease Pharmacists (SIDP) Antimicrobial Stewardship Certificate
