Dr. Macmillan is a one-of-a-kind provider. She's knowledgeable, kind, patient, and caring. I have seen her for over a decade and through two pregnancies. I have felt heard, respected, and safe within her guidance - she's unmatched and I would highly recommend her to anyone. She cares and advocates for the health and wellbeing of mothers, women, and children.

An OBGYN but will care for you as a whole person as if she were your pcp. Hands down the best doctor I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing. She will go above and beyond and help you with everything. I have been seeing Dr. MacMillan since 2014. From having a minor surgery and also to her delivering my daughter, being extremely responsive to my many questions, no matter the hour of day or night- I could not ask for a better OBGYN. In addition to her wealth of experience and knowledge, Dr MacMillan is one of the most detailed and attentive doctors I have ever talked with. She is diligent on ensuring she has all the information needed to prescribe an accurate treatment plan. Dr. MacMillan delivered both of my children by c-section. First being unplanned, and the second being planned. I was being seen through the midwifery team at St. Joseph, but Dr. MacMillian ultimately provided the care the day of. She is highly competent, capable, compassionate, and went above and beyond to ensure that my deliveries were safe and I was educated about my options for my second child. The OB/Midwifery Team has a strong working relationship with each other. To quote nursing staff on the unit, “Dr. MacMillian lives and breathes this.” So it’s evident that people who work along side her respect her professionally. I would recommend Dr. MacMillian and the team at St Joseph’s for prenatal and labor/delivery.Patient Submitted Review

She delivered my son with forceps and I felt completely safe and trusted her no matter what. She has this way about her that is so confident and she really is knowledgeable. She has helped women feel safe and have their babies be born even in scary situations. She deserves all the praise. She has great bedside manner, actually takes time to talk to you and get to know you. I am so glad she was there to competently deliver my baby and would be lucky to have her at my next birth. She is seriously so badass!! my husband is a strong guy, and even he said the way she was pulling those forceps was some type of superhuman.

Dr. Macmillin is one of the smartest woman I know, Her devotion to her patients is unbelievable! I could never thank her enough for everything she has done for me and my family over the years. 3 years ago I was certain I would be giving birth in my bathtub, I was seeing some crazy doctor that I was really uncomfortable with and I was terrified of the hospital after the terrible experience I had prior. I was almost 6 months pregnant when I called the on call line, I didnt trust anyone so i made up some excuse without telling them I was pregnant just to get her to call me so I could ask for help. Dr. Macmillin called me and took me into her care immediately. When I gave birth I was treated like the president, everyone was so kind I almost thought they were afraid of me, I dont know what she said to them that day but it made my birth experience the best I've ever had.Patient Submitted Review

I love having Dr. MacMillan for my obgyn. She always makes me feel so relaxed and at ease; we can talk about every and anything re: female 'stuff'. She has a wonderful sense of humor and yet she is totally candid and serious when need be. Her empathy is right on and is what I always look for in a dr/patient relationship. I love her! I give her complete credit for my NOT having a c-section. She's very reassuring, listens to my questions and takes all the time I need. I don't feel rushed talking with her, and feel like she sees me as a person, not a case. At my last appointment, 4 years post baby, she still has the baby announcement of my son in her office! I first went to Kelly when I was newly pregnant with my first son and needed an OBGYN closer to my new home. She came highly recommended from a friend of a friend. Since then, I've sent many women to her when they were on the hunt for a new OBGYN. Here's why: 1)She is thoughtful, caring, knowledgeable and can keep a stress ball like me sane through three pregnancies (and help me keep my babies safe through to term). 2)She is personable, makes you feel like a friend/important, and makes me laugh/feel better at each appointment. 3)She is proactive - when I asked what would happen if there were complications, she immediately told me we'd be in Boston. Being new to the area, that is exactly what I wanted to hear. She puts the mom and baby's health above all else. 4)She always makes you feel "heard" - no matter how busy I know her day is, she always takes the time to talk through any concerns I have, never belittles them and always puts me at ease. 5)Her nurse, Lisa - she is amazing, friendly, full of energy and always helpful/attentive. I love her. 6) She understands my scheduling limitations with my work and child care schedule and goes out of her way to make things easier on me. Basically, she is the best of the best. I absolutely adore her and credit her and Lisa with my three healthy pregnancies. I can't imagine having gone through this adventure with any other doctor.Patient Submitted Review

Kelly is just wonderful. She speaks to you like you're a real person. She spends a great amount of time asking you questions. Her nurse is wonderfully pleasant. I’ve been seeing Dr. MacMillan since I got pregnant with my first child in 2019. I had my second in 2021, and even though I’m done having children, I see Dr. MacMillan for my yearly physicals. Not only was she a wonderful OB while I was pregnant both times but she is now my go-to for health post-childbirth.
