Ashley Patti, RTR, Awarded Mission Champion June 2025

June 2025 Mission Champion

Ashley Patti, RTR, joined the St. Joseph Hospital team in 2023 as a Radiologic Technologist. She now also serves as the preceptor for all NHTI students who come through the hospital, allowing her the opportunity to teach them and further enhance their knowledge in radiology.

The most enjoyable aspect of Ashley’s job that she cherishes the most is the patients she treats. She finds fulfillment in making a positive impact on their lives, helping to alleviate the stress associated with the vulnerable situations they face. Additionally, the relationship she has with her coworkers is truly one of a kind. She appreciates the family camaraderie they share, as they consistently support one another through both good and challenging times, celebrating each other’s successes. Additionally,

Ashley’s most valuable experiences while working at St. Joseph Hospital is the sense of purpose, she derives from assisting each patient on their journey. She encounters them during their most difficult moments, navigating unknown and unfamiliar circumstances. She takes pride in her ability to bring a little sunshine into their lives, helping to ease their stress during the time she spends with them.

Rachel Hartford said “In the field of Radiology, Ashley delivers the highest quality of imaging excellence. She is even a clinical preceptor to student and molds young minds in all topics of radiology. Our patients love our students which is a direct reflection of Ashley’s hard work and talent. She provides excellent patient care, imaging, and is a role model to St. Joseph Hospital students. To be a clinical preceptor you have to be the best at the job to create excellent student who move on to be excellent Technologist like Ashley. These students represent St. Joseph Hospital which is important. Ashley is an excellent preceptor; she leads by example.”

Also, Denton McQuesten said “Ashely is compassionate. when working with patients Ashley treats them like they are a member of her family. she was working with a patient who had dislocated their hip and made sure all their needs where meet emotionally and physically. She had talked with them for a while and made adjustments to the bed and gave a blanket.”

When Ashley isn’t at work, she’s often catching a flight to explore new destinations around the world. She has visited many incredible places, but her favorite so far has been Florence, Italy. Ashley also enjoys spending quality time with her family. She and her husband, Nic, love hanging out with their dog, Torey. She’s enjoys the time she spends with her mom, Joanne, her dad, Barry, and her brother, Daniel.
