Diagnostic Imaging Services

About Us

At St. Joseph Hospital, we take pride in our long-standing leadership in diagnostic imaging. As the first hospital in the Greater Nashua area to implement Picture Archiving & Communication Systems (PACS), we’ve made it possible for images and information to be accessed by multiple users simultaneously across different locations, allowing for real-time consultations between our providers and expert radiologists.

With three convenient locations in Nashua, South Nashua, and Milford, we’re here to provide timely and precise diagnoses close to home.

3D Mammograms

The St. Joseph Hospital Breast Care Center is one of the first women’s centers in New Hampshire to offer 3D Mammography. 3D mammograms help radiologists see breast tissue better by decreasing the effect of overlapping areas.

CT Scan

Computed Tomography, also known as CT scans, utilize ionizing radiation. Our radiologists use the lowest dose of radiation possible to obtain information needed. Additionally, our scanner delivers enhanced CT image quality with up to 40% less radiation exposure to our patients.

MRI

At St. Joseph Hospital, our state-of-the-art MRI suite provides you access with the latest technology in a stress-free, patient-friendly environment. Our MRI machine can perform exams for your brain, spine, abdomen, extremities, breasts, and more.

Nuclear Medicine

We’re proud to provide nuclear medicine to the Greater Nashua community. Nuclear medicine is a branch of medical imaging that uses small amounts of radioactive material to diagnose and treat a variety of diseases and abnormalities within the body.

Ultrasound

An Ultrasound is a non-invasive way of examining many of the body’s internal organs. Offered through St. Joseph Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Services, we’ve achieved accreditation by the American College of Radiology for quality.

X-Ray

Think you might have a broken bone? Come on in for an X-ray. An X-ray machine produces a small burst of radiation that passes through the body, recording an image on a special digital image recording plate. This allows us to diagnose your injury or illness quickly and accurately.
