Contest Rules

Eligibility

Anyone 17 years of age or under in the following towns is eligible to submit one entry:

• New Hampshire:  Merrimack, Nashua, Milford, Hudson, Hollis, Brookline, Pelham, Bedford, Mason, Greenville, New Ipswich, Rindge, Jaffrey, Sharon, Temple, Peterborough, Lyndeborough, Wilton, Mont Vernon, Amherst, Litchfield, Londonderry, Derry, Windham
• Massachusetts: Tyngsborough, Pepperell, Townsend, Dracut, Lowell, Chelmsford, Groton, Lunenburg, Westford, Ayer, Devens, Fitchburg, Ashby, Tewksbury, Littleton, Billerica

Contest Deadline

Entries must be received by the St. Joseph Hospital front desk (172 Kinsley St. Nashua, NH 03060) or by email at tmcmahon@covh.org no later than 11:59 p.m. on October 25th, 2024.

Subject Matter

The design must be the artist’s original creation and shall not be copied or duplicated from previously published art, including photographs, clip art or electronic graphic images. Photographs or photo manipulations will not be accepted.  Design must be hand drawn.

Technical Requirements:

• Colors

  • There are no color limitations.

• Shape And Size

  • The design must use the shape/design provided on the design template [PDF].
  • No other shape or size may be used.

• Suitability For Reproduction

  • St. Joseph Hospital reserves the right to alter the design if necessary. This includes redrawing, resetting type, and changing colors.

Submission Procedures:

Entries may be submitted in one of the two following ways:

1. Entries may be hand-delivered to:

2. Entries may be sent electronically via email. Either scan or take a picture of the completed entry form [PDF]. You may email this entry form file and the design file (accepted formats are PDF, PNG, and JPG) to Tim McMahon, Director of Marketing at St. Joseph Hospital at tmcmahon@covh.org

Each contestant must verify that they meet all eligibility requirements and enclose the completed and signed entry form with a parent/guardian or teacher’s signature. All designs submitted will become the sole property of St. Joseph Hospital. St. Joseph Hospital will not insure any entry it receives nor assume liability for any damage, loss or theft of any entry. Each person may submit only one entry. Entries will not be returned.

Online Voting:

• Designs will all be posted on the St. Joseph Hospital Facebook page the last week of October for online voting.
• Judging will be done on Facebook with the top 3 winners selected by whichever designs have the most “likes”.
• Winners will be announced in a news release and on Facebook on November 4th.
• Stickers printed from the winning designs will be handed out across multiple St. Joseph Hospital locations all year long!
