Your gift to the Breast Care Center stands up in support of those women and men in our community who are being treated for cancer. Funds donated support personalized attention and coordinated patient care. St. Joseph Hospital is the region’s first comprehensive center — all care happens under one roof.
The Grey Nuns Thrift Shop at St. Joseph Hospital carries on the legacy of compassion by supporting the underprivileged in the Greater Nashua community. It serves as a vital resource, offering affordable clothing and essentials while promoting generosity and community spirit. It is known for it’s voucher program where clients of local service organizations can shop for free and for giving away tents and sleeping bags to our community’s unhoused population.
Our mission department works each day to keep our mission of serving every member of our community moving forward. Your gift to the Mission Fund provides funding for all mission-based programs including but not limited to: the St. Joseph’s Closet which donates durable medical equipment to patients in need, recognizes the staff’s Mission Champion of the Month, runs our Project SEARCH intern program for local young adults with disabilities, and our Arts in the Atrium series.
Your gift meets our community where they are: in their neighborhoods. Being out in the community increases access to health care for Nashua’s most vulnerable citizens. Your gift helps provide free screening for chronic health conditions, health coaching and referrals to local health and social service agencies.
Your donation supports patient care in our Oncology Unit, which offers comprehensive services in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of all types of cancer. It allows your neighbors to get the care they need, right here in Greater Nashua so they can stay close to home.
Nurses are critical to the success of outstanding community health care. Your gift to the School of Nursing Scholarship Fund helps students succeed in their studies. 93% of our graduates work right here in Southern New Hampshire.
Donations made to this fund will support patients and employees faced with unforeseen expenses due to the considerable costs of care or any other unexpected crisis. Examples include prescription co-pays, minor medical equipment, mortgage payments, transportation costs, heating bills and more. 100% of all gifts to this fund are allocated directly to expenses. This fund relies solely on philanthropic gifts and is the heart of St. Joseph Hospital’s Mission
The council strives to recognize and support members of our St. Joe’s community who are Veteran’s or currently serving. This includes a yearly Veteran’s Day celebration, including Quilt of Valor. They also collect supplies and cards for those currently serving.
