Temporomandibular Disorders (TMDs) are a group of disorders of the jaw muscles, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and the nerves that are associated with chronic facial pain. Our therapists have advanced training in the treatment of Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD) and can help improve your activities of daily living.

  • Pain in the area of the TMJ and jaw muscles
  • Pain with mouth opening, chewing, and/or yawning
  • Joint sounds with jaw movement
  • Intermittent locking with mouth closing, opening, or both
  • Limited mouth opening
  • Headaches
  • Earaches or pain
