The Season of Giving at St. Joe’s

Wellness

Here’s what’s coming up before the end of the year

Honoring Our Veterans

In November, the spotlight turns to our veterans to recognize their military service. On Veterans Day, local heroes are honored with handmade Quilts of Valor sewn with thanks. St. Joe’s also organizes a Christmas Card program for active-duty military. Hospital staff write heartfelt cards that share holiday cheer with soldiers across the globe.

Spreading Holiday Cheer
December brings the joy of giving to the hospital. The Letters to Santa campaign includes a North Pole mailbox in the hospital’s atrium where kids can mail their Christmas wish list and receive a reply from Santa himself. A festive tree raffle, Santa’s visit to the hospital’s atrium and the Christmas Basket Project, which offers meals, gifts and essentials to families in need, all make the season a little bit brighter for the community.

Caring Always Comes First
Whether it’s supporting health and wellness, honoring service or spreading joy, St. Joe’s comes through no matter the season to always care for its community. To learn more, visit stjosephhospital.com.
