Our providers have advanced education in orthopedic, neurological, pelvic health, pediatric, lymphedema, Temporal Mandibular Disfunction (TMD), Oncology, Vestibular, and Oncology related conditions.

Orthopedic Physical Therapy

Whether it’s back to work, back to sports, or back to enjoying life, our physical therapists can help you recover from injuries or diseases involving your musculoskeletal system. Our therapists have advanced training in manual therapy, dry needling, and exercise based recovery techniques.

Neurological Physical Therapy

We offer comprehensive treatment for patients who have experienced a neurological event such as a stroke, traumatic brain injury, anoxia, tumors, or other neurological diseases or disorders. Our interdisciplinary team of neurological rehabilitation specialists combines physical, occupational, and speech therapy with the latest treatment modalities. Our focus is on treating the whole person and improving their quality of life.

LSVT BIG – Parkinson’s Disease (PD)

LSVT BIG is a specialty program designed to improve the function of individuals who have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) in order to move more normally. LVST BIG is an intense exercise program that is comprised of 60 minute physical therapy sessions, four times a week. This program can be modified by your therapist to meet an individual patients’ needs.

Pelvic Health Physical Therapy

We offer specialized rehabilitation services for men, women, and children with pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic floor disorders, and pelvic pain. Our therapists have advanced training and experience in helping people restore strength and function of the muscles that support the bladder, uterus/prostate, and other organs within the pelvic girdle.

Pediatric Physical Therapy

Our pediatric physical therapists will evaluate your child to address strength, flexibility, reflexes, motor, sensory skills, and developmental progress. At St. Joseph Hospital, we focus on communication and teamwork with the child, the family, the caretakers, the physician, and the school to incorporate a comprehensive therapy program.

Lymphedema Physical Therapy

Our certified lymphedema therapists offer comprehensive treatment for patients who are at risk for, or currently experiencing limb, neck, or trunk swelling due to a variety of conditions. Lymphedema can be due to cancer, cancer treatment, chronic venous insufficiency, obesity, or a congenital condition.

Temporomandibular Disorder

Temporomandibular Disorders (TMDs) are a group of disorders of the jaw muscles, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and the nerves that are associated with chronic facial pain. Our therapists have advanced training in the treatment of Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD) and can help improve your activities of daily living.

Cancer Rehabilitation

Our skilled therapists assist patients who are experiencing cancer, have a history of cancer, or are having musculoskeletal issues related to cancer treatments that are impacting their lives. Our goal at St. Joseph Hospital is to treat the whole person through compassion, exercise, and various treatment techniques to improve their quality of life.

Vestibular Physical Therapy

We offer comprehensive treatment plans for patients who deal with a variety of vestibular impairments. Patients work with a specially trained therapist to improve dizziness, balance, and overall function depending on their condition.
