Why St. Joseph Hospital

St. Joseph Hospital offers comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation services for all ages, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Our primary goal is to assist our patients in achieving the highest level of function, through skilled one-on-one therapy and utilizing the latest in rehabilitation technologies. Each member of the rehabilitation team at St. Joseph Hospital is licensed by the State of New Hampshire Medical Board of Allied Health. Together, our therapists average 15 years of experience and have advanced training in specialized areas of patient care.

We offer early morning and evening appointments to meet your busy schedule. The length of each treatment session is based on patient need, with most sessions scheduled for 45 minutes.

Outpatient services are available at six locations, including three sites in Nashua, plus others in Hudson, Merrimack and Milford. Referrals to our program are accepted from all physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

Physical Therapy

Physical therapists are movement experts who improve quality of life through prescribed exercise, hands-on care, and patient education. They diagnose and treat individuals of all ages, from newborns throughout the various stages of life.

Our providers have advanced education in orthopedic, neurological, pelvic health, pediatric, lymphedema, Temporal Mandibular Disfunction (TMD), Oncology, Vestibular, and Oncology related conditions.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists are health care professionals who assist individuals or groups with everyday life activities (occupations) for the purpose of participation in roles and situations in home, school, workplace, community, and other settings.

Our providers have advanced education in orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, lymphedema, and oncology related conditions.

Speech Language Pathology

Speech language pathologists work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.

Our providers have advanced education in neurological diagnosis, Parkinson’s Disease, swallowing disorders, infant feeding, and oncology related conditions.
