St. Joseph Hospital Mobile Health Clinic Brings Accessible Medical Care to Vulnerable Members of the Greater Nashua Community

Nashua, NH – The St. Joseph Hospital Mobile Health Clinic has become a beacon of hope for the Greater Nashua community. This fully licensed clinic provides non-urgent, walk-in healthcare to some of our most high-risk and vulnerable populations, along with education to help patients better manage their own health. It is also staffed with nurse practitioners, midwives, and nurses who are committed to providing care and healing to anyone who steps on board.

The Mobile Health Clinic is a lifeline for those in need,” shares Rosemary Ford, System Director of Interpreter Services and Mobile Health Clinic. “The goal of the Mobile Health Clinic is to break down barriers to health care access, allowing us to build trust in our community by meeting people where they are.”

Each week, the Mobile Health Clinic partners with local, nonprofit organizations like The Day Café and the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter to provide top-quality care in a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both the individuals they serve as well as anyone in the immediate neighborhood. The range of services offered in the clinic include vaccinations, preventative screenings, diabetes counseling, dressing changes, blood pressure checks, and many more. Walking into the clinic, you feel as if you’ve just stepped into your doctor’s office. There is a full medical exam room in the front, a registration area where staff takes each patient’s vitals and health history, and a third room for exams.

“The St. Joseph Hospital Mobile Health Clinic is a beautiful manifestation of the hospitals concern for people in need,” stated Father Kerper from The Day Café at Saint Patrick Parish in Nashua. “It shines as a safe, quiet, and compassionate presence for many people who pass by our doors on Main Street.”
